Hey guys! Planning on getting new suspension soon as my "Koni Coilovers" are way to bouncy and sits to high at the back. What are you guys running because I'm torn between going all out on "HSD'S" but I'm not sure if they're worth the money for the amount or track time ill be getting so I might be better of with cheaper ones like TA Technx/raceland coilovers? What do you guys think?
Thanks!

I'm running Megan Ez Street Coilovers and I enjoy them. I have the dampening set to full-hard on all 4 corners.
My wife hates riding in my miata but I love it

I would advise against racelands unless you don't care that your car will handle worse and ride more uncomfortably than stock at any height you set them.
With that being said, I still have a set in the garage pre-adjusted to my "slammed height" so I just swap coilovers when I slam my cars for shows instead of threading down my Stance GR+ that I rock at the track/daily.
It's actually faster for me to swap out coilovers than adjust all 4 corners, I've done it so many times I could probably do it blind folded in less than an hour lol.

I wish I could afford 2 sets like that as that sounds ideal! Haha
So if I was using the racelands for the stance look that'd be fine but they're pretty poop for track days etc?

You are spot on my friend! But I didn't start out that way! Right after I got my Miata all I could afford was the Raceland's for a while. The only way I got the Stance was by becoming an authorized vendor for them and I had their coilovers up on my website for forever and didn't sell any so now I don't sell them at all lol. Never sold a set. I'm working on getting Boss Performance discount codes for our customers for all the websites we support instead of selling their products ourselves. We hate middlemen and don't want to be one ourselves just to take more money from you. Plus it's just inefficient to ship things twice. Stance USA is one of those companies who will be receiving e-mail from us shortly regarding these offer details, along with select few others. They can either support our fans or not, so whether or not they get our support is up to them. It just makes much more sense for us to be able to have our customers deal with the manufacturer's directly, instead of communicating and dealing with them through us. We just want to make sure that we can still hook you all up the same way we always try to on our own website. It's a hard pitch to sell to a lot of these companies that have firm MSRP and Minimum Advertised Pricing policies, but we're working it! All for the Boss fans!

Yea, I rode in a car with Race Lands and they honestly rode worse than my original 23 year old blown shocks, and the car was not slammed. I recently picked up a set of KYB AGXs with Flyin' Miata Springs, Flyin' Miata rear mounts and custom NB mounts up front and could not be more happy. I have the fronts set to 7 and rear to 6 and they ride great and handle awesome. I picked everything up used for less than 300$. You might want to consider going with something like that for a dual duty car.

That sounds great! Discount codes sound like a good idea also Yeah I think I'm in the position where I can only afford to start off cheaper and work my way up, are racelands hard to come buy as they don't seem to be coming up on eBay haha? It maybe you have a set just lying around you'd like to give away

This forum is already turning out to be one of the best investments Boss has had yet! Although I would love to have used sets of Racelands laying around to give to those coming up, I unfortunately do not have my stash compiled yet. You can try checking their website here: link

GC's on Koni yellow's is the best handling setup I've ever had on any of my Miata's, ever. I'm currently on Stance GR+, I've had all kinds of bilsteins (sp?), Ricelands, VMAXX, stock, and probably a few other coilovers I'm forgetting. Spring rates are preference and driving style, at least when it comes to balance. Now Do EEET!

What koni shocks do you have? I'm guessing koni yellows or race, because you said they were adjustable. If so then the 450f-300r will be a great set up. Don't forget about adding more shock travel as you lower the car more and more you loose suspension travel. You might want to consider some FM top mounts or FC. I have NBs in front and FM in the rear. My previous suspension had no travel at my ride height and it sucked big time.

Yes, always keep both bump and droop travel (if I'm categorizing those things right) in mind when setting up your suspension for performance! Droop is just as important as bump travel if not MORE important in my opinion, especially for a car as light as the Miata. You know that things coming off the ground

I run racelands. My car rode very bad when I had it slammed. I recently raised it up to get my exhaust done and I noticed that the front coils were actually seized up so I was basically riding on bump stops. I managed to get them free and working right again and I can say that they are def. not track quality but if you are looking to slam your car like I was then racelands are not a bad choice. The ride quality was def. better then my blown out struts in my opinion but that is just one testimony. So anyways like I said. If you are just lookin to slam your car then racelands are a good choice but if you want ride quality I would suggest Megan's or anything else around that price range/quality n

I would like to go a little bit lower/stiffer than stock but not a whole lot, as VA is just potholes and speedbumps and i ain't bout dat life. What might be some good springs (EDIT: also not stupid expensive) to run overtop R-pack Bilsteins?
