So for whatever reason on ProBoards it seems the default thread reply mode may be BBCode.

Now that's great for some of the advanced users, but I'm assuming 99% of us prefer the "Preview" mode. To make this your default thread reply mode simply scroll to the top of any page and click "Profile". From your profile page click the dark grey "Edit Profile" button in the upper right. Once you're editing your profile click "Settings". Scroll down and change your "Posting Default" to "Preview" if it isn't already.

You're not done yet! Scroll down even further and click "Save Account Settings". Now you should be done!

Enjoy posting in the easier to read Preview mode!
